    SFASU

As a re-established Chapter of 37 actives and over 300 alumni, at Stephen F. Austin, the Delts here have an especially unique opportunity to form a vision that will ultimately shape the future of our fraternity for generations to come. Unlike other fraternities at Stephen F. Austin, the Delts here have only recently returned to the campus, therefore allowing even the newest members of our Chapter to have an exciting opportunity to re-shape the fraternity into their own, creating new traditions and events, as well as recapturing old ones from our vast history of existence as an international organization.

Most of our members are involved in other groups on campus as well including: Student Activities Association, Student Government Association, Omicron Delta Kappa, 1923 Society, ResLife, Traditions Council, Jack Camp, Amnesty International, and many others. We also believe that it is important that you find the right fraternity for you, so Delta Tau Delta encourages you to take the time to see what our fraternity has to offer as well as the other fraternities at Stephen F. Austin State University.

Building a fraternity around these values sets forth the expectations for how the fraternity will run and the behavior in the fraternity. Bringing these values into our Brotherhood allow for personal and organizational accountability and overall excellence.

    Leadership Academy

The academy is a personal development process based on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. This process is not designed to create better presidents or recruitment chairman, but to offer our undergraduates the opportunity to assess their personal skills, strengths and weaknesses; so that they may better prepare themselves for their future. Recently added to our leadership development opportunities is an experimental process that takes place in the Rocky Mountains, and another on the North Atlantic off the coast of Maine. The purpose of this expedition is to provide the basics of outdoor leadership including basic communication and leadership skills.
